Buyer Protection

At Wantedrobe, we want every purchase to be made with confidence. Our Buyer Protection policy is designed to help ensure that Wanters receive the item they agreed to purchase and that any issues are resolved fairly.

Buyer Protection Applies When

Buyer Protection may apply if:

  • You receive an item that is significantly different from the accepted offer.
  • You receive the wrong item.
  • The item arrives with significant undisclosed damage or defects.
  • The item is found to be counterfeit or fails third-party authentication when authentication was requested as part of the transaction.
  • Your item is lost during shipment (subject to shipping carrier investigation).

What Is Not Covered

Buyer Protection does not apply to:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Minor differences that were clearly shown or described in the offer.
  • Normal signs of wear that were accurately disclosed.
  • Incorrect sizing when the measurements and size information were correctly provided.
  • Damage caused after delivery.

Reporting an Issue

If you believe your purchase qualifies for Buyer Protection, please contact us through the Wantedrobe platform as soon as possible after receiving your item.

To help us review your case, please provide:

  • Photos of the item.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Any supporting documentation, including authentication reports if applicable.

How We Review Claims

Every claim is reviewed individually. We'll consider the information provided by both the Wanter and the Fashion Sourcer before reaching a fair decision.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Request additional information from either party.
  • Recommend a return of the item.
  • Assist both parties in reaching a mutually acceptable resolution.

Authentication

For eligible items, Wanters may request authentication before the purchase is completed.

Authentication is performed by an independent third-party authentication service arranged by the Fashion Sourcer. Wantedrobe does not authenticate items directly.
